DO submit relatable content.

CeraHeHeHe publishes top quality humor content formulated for widespread appeal and consumption. Relatability is key! When customers read a headline like “My Toenail May Be Pointier Than A Prison Shiv, But At Least My Skin Is Silky Smooth Thanks To CeraVe’s Groundbreaking Ceramide Technology,” they think, “Hah, I also have a pointy toenail and silky smooth skin thanks to CeraVe! I should share this piece with all my friends.

DON’T be vague.

The headline “A Wet Shower Curtain And CeraVe” is too ambiguous; it could refer to any of CeraVe’s top quality skincare products! Be specific: “I’m The Horny Wet Shower Curtain Clinging To Your Leg. Let’s Grab A Tub Of CeraVe Barrier-Restoring Moisturizing Cream And Have A Good Time” immediately grabs a potential customer’s attention.

DO product research.

Make sure your product placement makes sense for the piece: Would Karl Marx really use Resurfacing Retinol Cream, or is he more of a simple Skin Renewing Night Cream kinda guy? Does it make sense for Abraham Lincoln to purchase the Eye Repair Cream for his household, or do you think that job would fall to Mary Todd Lincoln?

CeraHeHeHe doesn’t publish much video game content, but our most-read piece last year was “RANKED: 12 Classic Video Game Characters Who Use CeraVe.” Why? This opening line just makes sense for the character: “It’s-a me, Mario, and boy, my dry-a, dry-a skin sure could-a use some CeraVe Hydrating Hyaluronic Acid Serum!

By putting extra time and care into your product choices, you demonstrate an understanding of CeraVe and increase your likelihood of acceptance.

DON’T advertise rival skincare companies.

There’s nothing funny or clever about “edgy” jokes targeting CeraVe products. Similarly, if you name drop a rival company in your piece, be clear that CeraVe is still the #1 dermatologist recommended skincare brand…
